Our first go at having the outdoor tryout failed because of the rain. The event is rescheduled for Nov 1st 6pm-9pm. We have 3 fields to make things go as fast as possible. If you have paid for tryout registration and cannot attend the reschedule, please let us know. Your options would be to do the video tryout and receive a partial refund. Or get a full refund and not tryout this year. New Registrations are welcomed.

The National event is taking place in KANSAS CITY, MO July 31st – August 4th, 2024
This registration is for tryouts only. We are forming teams for New Jersey, New York and Pennsylvania. We are NOT sending an 8u team to the event. 8u is coach pitch and its been our experience families don’t want to travel across country for coach pitch.
Players Age is based on 2024 Registrations April 30th is the date used for players age.
Nov 1st: 101 Lower Road, Linden, NJ 07036. This is an outdoor tryout. Tryout starts at 6pm and ends at 9pm.
Video-Verified/Skill Assessment Tryouts: If you are submitting a video tryout you will be able to do that up until Nov 10th. Instructions on how to submit your video tryout will be emailed to you after registration.

TRYOUT-FAQ
What is the USSSA Baseball All-State Team?
- The all state team is a chance for your child to represent NJ at the National Tournament in KANSAS CITY, MO July 31st – August 4th, 2024 . There are two levels of play. We will be forming 2 teams per age group, one for each level. Open (AAA and Major players) and AA division. There is a spot for your child

Who is eligible to tryout for the New Jersey Team?
- New York, Connecticut and Pennsylvania currently do not have teams anyone from those states are eligible to play with the NJ team. It is possible, if we get enough kids from each of those states at our tryouts we will form separate teams.
Who will select the players for the All-American teams?
- The State Committee and staff make the decision on all selections.
Can my son participate in multiple tryouts?
- Participants can tryout in multiple tryouts. If you are unhappy with your numbers from the first event you can absolutely tryout again.
What positions can I select?
- Each participant will select two positions. A Primary and a Secondary. We will be selecting the best players to fit the needs of that particular team based on performance at the tryout.
Does my son need an invite or is it open to all players?
- Tryouts are open to all players who want to participate that meet the age requirements
How will I know if my son is selected for the New Jersey Team?
- Notification of team selection comes from the NJ State Director. The invites to join the team will be sent via email Nov 11th through Nov 30th.
Who will coach the teams?

Will there be practices for the regional teams throughout the year?
- Teams can hold practices. That decision is up to the individual coaches of the teams.
